Celebrate Mardi Gras "Bavarian-Style", also known as "Winter Karnival" in Germany. Karnival season is traditionally a time of festivity and merry-making before the start of Lent, a time of feasting before fasting. Although Fasching in Helen is on a much smaller scale than in Germany, it is a time to celebrate before Lent. Dress as your favorite, or perhaps, your least favorite personality or character and join us for a night of dancing and fun! Live German Music!

Last year's event was great and this year's will be even better! Spending a weekend in the mountains and tasting the Award Winning wines that are made from Georgia grown grapes is truly a great way to shake off those winter doldrums!
The Wineries will use the same format as last year where you can purchase your "Passport" and receive your souvenir glass at any of the 20 participating wineries.
